Haute Event: TMNK Pop-up Art Gallery

News | February 3, 2011

This Tuesday, Feb. 8, Ceilee Sitt is presenting “Modern Urbanisms,” a pop-up gallery featuring the work of New York based street artist TMNK (The Me Nobody Knows aka NOBODY). Much of his work has been exhibited in New York’s Museum of Modern Art, Milan’s Galleria Arte Cóntempoanea e Dintorni, and Norway’s Galleri Gallenberg. Additionally, NOBODY’s work is held in the permanent collection of the Fleming Museum in Vermont, the main lobby of the Gansevoort Hotel in New York, was featured in YRB, Curated and Art Nouveau magazine, as well as selected for an exclusive line of t-shirts for American Eagle Outfitters. The show is being held at 351 Bowery from 7 to 10 p.m. I think this is going to be a great event to check out either with friends or on a date (or both!). Some scheduled attendees for the event include Selita Ebanks, Rasual Butler, Al-Farouq Aminu (LA Clippers), Roger Mason Jr. (New York Knicks), V.A.D.O, Teyana Taylor and more.
