Haute Event: The Master Brokers Forum held at One Thousand Ocean

Slowly but surely the national economic crisis is improving, there are even signs of South Florida’s real estate market climbing out of the hole in the last few months, partially due to many foreign consumers. On Jan. 26, The Masters Broker Forum held a panel discussion and reception at a new luxury penthouse at One Thousand Ocean Drive in Boca Raton. Guests received the star treatment before the panel discussion; touring the luxury building, networking and enjoying some hors’ d’oeuvres and spirits.

Guests listened to opening remarks by the President of LXR Luxury Resorts on the magnificent high-rise, which also housed the MBF in 2009. The panel discussion was moderated by Master Broker and WPLG Local 10 real estate analyst Liz Caldwell, and featured Dr. Andrea Heuson who is professor of Finance at the University of Miami School of Business, and Darcie Lunsford a local real estate editor of the South Florida Business Journal.  The panelists’ discussed the real estate marketing and pluses and minuses the weak U.S.dollar; among other topics. The reception and discussion was well designed, executed and received!
