Haute Event: New Luxury Makeup Shop Opens in Chelsea Market

News | February 17, 2011

The Inglot New York studio pulled back the curtains, Thursday, and welcomed VIPs and press to check out their new space. The sleek new studio is fitted with the best in makeup technology. The studio opened just in time to celebrate the close of New York Fashion Week, filling their 6,000 square foot space with fashionistas and makeup afficionados.

The event introduced the expansion of their unique concept studio, allowing their clients to touch, mix and play with over 1,500 colors so that you can blend every single blush, eyeshadow and foundation to your heart’s content. The brand was initially introduced to New York 25 years ago when founder Wojtek Inglot, a chemist working at a pharmaceutical company, decided to take his expertise and launch a beauty line. Inglot recently launched the first ever “Breathable Nail Enamel” to give your nails some air while they are polished and fab. The space is also equipped with a photo studio.

The studio is located on the fifth floor of Chelsea Market at 75 Ninth Ave. It officially opens doors to the public on February 18.
