Haute Design: Celebrating Architect Morris Lapidus

Tonight, guests will be celebrating the new tome featuring the genius architectural design of the late Morris Lapidus.  Known throughout the world for his work at the Fountainbleu hotel in Miami Beach, Lapidus’ work throughout the years is highlighted in this beautiful new Rizzoli book.  Morris Lapidus: The Architecture of Joy spotlights his work ranging from seductive modern shops and private residences to iconic hotels and residential towers in New York, Miami Beach, the Caribbean and beyond.

Join author Deborah Desilets for a book signing party put together by Morris Lapidus’ granddaughter Liz Lapidus as well as Atlanta Contemporary Art Center.  The party will be held at Atlanta’s premiere modern furniture and accessories showroom SWITCH.

Guests who stop by tonight will also have the rare chance to see the Morris Lapidus Collection of furniture by Dennis Miller Associates as well as a collection of select Morris Lapidus watercolors.

The Book Signing Party will be held tonight, February 9^th from 6 to 9 p.m.
