Chicago will be Dancing with Celebrities for Charity

March 11 will mark the sixth annual “Dancing with Chicago Celebrities Event” which benefits the Susan G. Komen Foundation. There will be dancing, cocktailing, feasting, raffling, and star sightings all night long! And what better place for an extravagant event to take place than the Hyatt Regency Crystal Ballroom in the heart of downtown Chicago.

Now, we aren’t talking about just your average random audience that will be in attendance. The guests at this event will be high-class and elegant. Noshing on fancy hors d’oeuvres and decadent dessert items. There will be all the bells and whistles of the Dancing with the Stars television show with guest judges and well-known contestants dominating the dance floor!

Who are these celebrity guests you might ask? Well, scheduled to perform thus far is Miss Illinois Whitney Thorpe-Klinsky, CBS2’s Mike Puccinelli, WLS’ Marti Jones, Zoralda Sambollin from NBC5, and WGN’s Nancy Loo. I’m sure you all remember one of the previous Dancing with the Stars champions, Nick Koskovich who danced along side Vivica A. Fox he will be one of the guest judges on the panel with Top Chef and Chicago local, Rick Bayless. The full panel of judges has yet to be announced.

The goal of this star studded ball is to raise as much money as possible for the Susan G. Komen foundation. Guests are urged to raise money if they reach a donation level of $2000 they will receive a free ticket to the venue.
