The 11th Annual Naples Winter Wine Festival

News | January 26, 2011

Held each January, the Naples Winter Wine Festival raises more money than all other wine festivals in the country, combined.  As a result of the hard work and sacrifices of its 73 trustees, this charitable event culminates to an extraordinary weekend of world-renowned chefs and wine-makers.  The core of the event, of course, is the auction of various lots, which include 100 bottles of 100 point wine, a 2011 Lexus IS Convertible F-Sport, a 22-day trip around the world, and many more items, vacations, and services of the best brands. One other example of the caliber of these lots is a New York celebrity, fashion, culinary, and art experience for two, which varies from accommodations in a Fifth Avenue apartment, lunch with TV’s Regis Philbin and Michael Gelman, to a special workout session with TV’s Kelly Ripa at her gym. The 11th Annual Naples Winter Wine Festival is expected to raise a year worth of funds for The Naples Children and Education Foundation, which will, in effect, aid children and women at risk.

The Naples Winter Wine Festival will take place this weekend, from Jan. 28 – 30 in Naples, Fla.
