Public House Opens with Appearances by Samantha Ronson, Jenn Sterger, Jillian Harris and Giuliana Ranic
If you’ve been wondering why a smiley face icon entitled “Brewce Brew” has been friending half the city’s hottest socialites on facebook, it is to welcome the much anticipated Public House this weekend. The viral marketing effort from the team behind celeb-infested hot spot Bull and Bear are expanding their empire to another 10,000 square foot “beer centric” space located on corner of State & Kinzie. Expanding on the ever-popular table tap concept where you pour your own brews, Public House will also introduce the wall tap so you never have to stray from the scene to get a refill.
Public House will offer a menu comprised of traditional favorites with a unique, upscale twist. The menu will meld simple American style cuisine with rustic rotisserie smokehouse flare. Beer will play a major role as one of the principal ingredients in many of the dishes and house made sauces. A beer tasting and pairing menu will also be available which will accentuate patrons dining experience.
Taking full advantage of its proximity to the House of Blues, Public House will be offering encore performances from some of the venues hottest acts. Their concert quality sound system will allow for live in-house performances any night of the week. With warm design touches, such as hand carved crown molding, rustic custom light fixtures and fireplace seating, Public House promises to help Chicagoans say goodbye to the night club and hello to the “night pub.”
Rumored to be making appearances for the opening are Jenn Sterger (Brett Favre’s naughty journalist) hosting a March Madness party, Samantha Ronson on the turntables 1/15, ex-Bachelorette Jillian Harris 1/21 and Giuliana Ranic 1/22.
