Luminaire Coral Gables To Host Reception for Designer Patricia Urquiola

With mentors like Achille Castiglioni, Vico Magistretti, and Piero Lissoni, it’s no wonder that Patricia Urquiola has cultivated a keen eye and talent for design. For 36 years, she has endured the male-dominated design world to come into her and evolve into one of the most recognized visionaries in contemporary design. She has been the chief interior designer for several luxury properties including the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona and the W Retreat & Spa on Vieques Island, with designs also located in the permanent collection of New York’s Museum of Modern Art.

On Thursday, Feb. 3, Urquiola will make a give an exclusive design lecture followed by a special appearance at the Luminaire flagship showroom in Coral Gables where she will unveil her highly-anticipated Bend sofa.

The Lecture will be held at the Fewell Gallery at Coral Gables Museum with reception immediately following at the Luminaire Showroom, 2331 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Coral Gables. To RSVP, email [email protected].
