Haute Event: San Francisco Opera Guild Holiday Celebration

On Dec. 9 at Alexandra’s The Westin St. Francis, the San Francisco Opera Guild held its “‘Tis the Season” holiday celebration.

Guests enjoyed fine wine and cocktails along with hors d’oeuvres catered by both John’s Grill and The Westin St. Francis. The event had both a silent and eventful live auction that guests partook in. The celebration was hosted by co-chairmen Diana Kissil and Deboral Sagues, president Diane Rubin, honorary co-chairmen Franklin and Catherine Johnson, along with the members of both the committee and honorary committee. Of course, it would not be possible without the sponsorship of Nordstrom, United Airlines, Grey Goose and many others.

The San Francisco Opera Guilds mission is to provide cultural nourishment to the Northern California community through opera education, outreach programs, and special events; as well as to provide financial support to San Francisco Opera Association.
