Haute Event: Ne-Yo and Monyetta Shaw Host Grand Opening Party in Atlanta

Over 200 of Atlanta’s VIPs gathered in the new fashion boutique of Emerlyn & Ester for the grand opening soiree on Tuesday night.  Emerlyn & Ester is the latest fashion venture by R&B superstar Ne-Yo and his significant other (and new mother of their beautiful baby girl) Monyetta Shaw.  The night was spectacular from the red carpet to the Remy Martin cocktails and ultimately the toast to the couple with Armand de Brignac’s Ace of Spades Champagne.

Mo and Ne-Yo, looked as stylish as always as they graciously welcomed guests into their Buckhead boutique. Celebrity guests of the evening included Vivica A. Fox and Slimm (her new party promoter fiance), fashion designer Elaine Cassis and Lisa Reiner Tush. Other notables included Stacey Weiss, Jessica Dauler, Karen Canavan, Corinna Allen, Kristin Cowart-Pierce, Kisty Rose and Chris Adkins (designer of Thirteen Crowns Jewelry).

Ne-Yo was all smiles throughout the evening. I complemented him on his latest album, “Libra Scale” and he went on to tell me he was in the studio again already working on another one. Then, the proud father of 2-month-old Madeline, took out his phone to show me the latest picture of his baby girl. “She is amazing,” he said of his daughter.   I have to say, she is one of the cutest baby’s I have ever seen. Congrats to the beautiful couple on their boutique and their new daughter.
