Demi Moore, Kate Bosworth, and James Franco at SILVER Lounge at Sundance
As many dread the bitter cold of the winter months, many independent film fanatics and A-list celebrities look forward to the Sundance Film Festival. The place to see and be seen this year is Park City, Utah’s trendy new restaurant-lounge, SILVER, which has already been hosting some major celebrities. SILVER is the mastermind of Park City locals Lisa Barlow and Mary Lisenbee, who teamed up with NYC’s The Rockwell Group to create a chic and relaxed atmosphere just in time for Sundance. The venue pays tribute to the city’s silver mining history not only in its name, but in its innovative and chic design.
On Saturday, Jan. 22, several A-Listers like Terrance Howard, Susan Sarandon, Sarah Paulson, Elizabeth Olsen, Liv Tyler and E! host Ben Lyons came to unwind at SILVER’S PlayStation Green Room, Fresh Lounge, and In Style Portrait Studio. James Franco was also spotted on Main Street on his way out of SILVER, who graciously stopped to sign autographs for fans. (See below for exclusive video!)
Later that evening, Mamma Mia!’s Dominic Cooper celebrated the screening of his new flick Devil’s Double, in which he co-stars with Ludivine Sagnier and Raad Rawi, with a private dinner and an after party at SILVER. Devil’s Double, directed by Lee Tamahori, is about a Latif Yahia, an army lieutenant who is chosen to play the body double of Saddam Hussein’s son, Uday Hussein. He experiences Uday’s world, from the fast cars, endless money and easy women. Guests of this private dinner and after party included Ludivine Sagnier, Raad Rawi, Will Crimes, Jordan Masterson, Lee Tamahori, Ludivine Sagnier, CAA’s Kevin Huvane were treated to signature Vida Tequila Triple Threat and Belvedere cocktails.
