Broadway’s Susan Egan, Cabaret and “Dancing With the Stars” All to be Part of ATC’s 44th Season Celebration

Celebrate Arizona Theatre Company‘s 44th season on Saturday, April 30, with an elegant dinner, the opportunity to score front row seats at a taping of “Dancing with the Stars,” and a cabaret performance featuring Broadway’s Susan Egan (“Beauty and the Beast,” “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” “Cabaret”).

Guests at the “Curtain Up Cabaret 2011” event will enjoy a reception of hors d’oeuvres and champagne that evening beginning at 6 p.m. at the Herberger Theater Center. After some mingling and time spent admiring the Herberger Art Gallery, the fete will move to ATC’s professional stage, where guests will enjoy a lovely dinner and an exclusive cabaret performance featuring Broadway star Susan Egan in concert with Christopher McGovern, co-conceiver of “Backwards in High Heels” and musical director of ATC’s “Hair” and “Pajama Game.”

The evening will also include a decadent coffee and dessert bar after the show, as well as a live auction fundraiser that will benefit ATC’s education and community engagement programs, as well as afford guests the opportunity to win some seriously luxe swag, including a “Dancing with the Stars” package, which will provide the lucky recipient with airfare to and from Los Angeles, front row seats at a taping of the show, premium hotel accommodations and limousine transportation to the taping.
