Haute Event: Purina One Joins Forces With Actor Josh Lucas For A Good Cause
Actor Josh Lucas and his dog Loki teamed up with Purina to give $1 million to charities at the Time Warner Center Monday. They helped a cause with some paws while celebrating the coming launch of Purina’s “BeyOnd” brand of pet food that is packaged in 92 percent renewable materials.
Lucas spoke to random New Yorkers, giving them the opportunity to donate $5,000 of Purina’s money to a featured nonprofit of their choice. Lucas told reporters he could not have done it without his furry friend Loki. “Loki is smooth. He’s got a real Cary Grant essence about him,” said Lucas. And there was no doubt, Loki had the ladies ooh-ing and aww-ing.
