Haute Event: Nadja Swarovski and Craig Robins Host Private Dinner to Celebrate Design Miami and Swarovski Crystal Palace Book

On Tuesday, Nov. 30, Nadja Swarovski and Craig Robins hosted a private dinner in the penthouse of Soho Beach House to celebrate the launch the new Swarovski Crystal Palace book, The Art of Light and Crystal, and Swarovski’s Design Miami collaboration with London design powerhouse Troika.

The Art of Light and Crystal is a work of art in itself, telling the story of the ten year journey of Swarovski Crystal Palace project, including personal interviews with some of the creative minds behind the project. It reveals the 115-year history of the Swarovski family and the evolution of the brand.

Guests of the intimate gathering included Pharrell Williams, Ron Arad, Nate Lowman, Konstantin Grcic, Troika’s Sebastian Noel and Conny Freyer, Ambra Medda, Damian Kulash, Aaron Young, Becca Cason Thrash, Gallen and Hilary Weston, Laure Heriard Dubreuil, Frederic Dechnik, Hendrik teNeues, Libby Sellers, Nina Yashar, Martin Brudzinkski, Iwona Blazwick, DJ Mia Moretti and more.

The Swarovski/Troika installation entitled “Falling Light” will be on display at Design Miami through Dec. 5. The unique presentation features 50 LED projections that hang from the ceiling and project light “drops” that illuminate through a Swarovski crystal lens onto the gallery floor.
