Haute Event: Carson Daly New York Stock Exchange Opening Bell
Our favorite former-MTV-VJ-turned-late-show-host Carson Daly rang the New York Stock Exchange opening bell Thursday morning. The event marks the seventh year that Daly will host “NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly.”
He was joined by his girlfriend, Siri Pinter, and baby boy Jackson James. Daly’s two-hour New Year’s Eve special will air live on Friday from Times Square, of course. The show starts at 10 p.m. and will end with the countdown to 2010 and the first performances of the new year. If you plan to tune in, you will also see NBC “Today Show” co-host Natalie Morales and Alison Stewart; they will be providing live reports from the heart of Times Square, where there is bound to be around a million spectators.
