Haute Beauty: The Miami Institute at the Four Seasons Hotel in Brickell

This week I had the pleasure of visiting the Miami Institute inside the Four Seasons Hotel in Brickell. For those of you who don’t know about this uber-fabulous clinic yet, it is much worth the visit. I must say it is the hautest clinic in Miami, so beautiful and peaceful.

The Miami Institute is at the top of celebrities and high society’s must-go list for anything they want to improve about themselves. They offer anything and everything, from a simple teeth whitening to plastic surgery. Cosmetic dermatology, anti-aging medicine, lifestyle modification programs, medical skincare and weight-loss programs are some of their procedures, to name a few. Why is it so amazing? When you go there you don’t feel like you are in a hospital, you feel like you are in a spa. This can come in very handy for those who are not so comfortable around certain surgical instruments, such as needles.

When you walk into such a modern and pleasant environment, you know you are in the right hands. While speaking with Alberto Santoro, the executive director, he explained to me how clients relax after surgery at the Four Seasons. Instead of lying in a hospital bed after any procedure, they can transfer to a room in the hotel; true luxury. He also mentioned the importance they place on privacy and excellence, considering the amount of important personalities that visit the Miami Institute; they have become experts on the field. Santoro showed me how some of their walls can be moved around to exclude some areas of the clinic. If you want to keep your beauty improvements a secret, this is the place to be.

The staff at the Miami Institute is incredibly experienced and welcoming, which leads me to Rosa, one of the latest beauty geniuses to join their staff. She gave me the best facial I have ever experienced. Rosa has a great hand for facial treatments. After enjoying the facial I was hoping would never end, she gave me a foot, hand and scalp massage. Incredible.

But it gets better; she gave me great insight on how to keep my skin looking flawless, and countless tips on which products would work best with my type of skin.

Needless to say, they work with some of the best plastic surgeons in the country. Julio Gallo, Robert Simmons, Roberto Polanco, Todd Barsky, Juan Remos, Rhonda Fine and Brian Whaley are some of the beauty rock stars at the Miami Institute. I had the pleasure of meeting most of them and chatting for a little while.
