Tailgating Is for Dudes, Sample Sales Are for Us Girls!

With football season upon us (and baseball just behind) tailgating has become an integral part of all things sports. It’s all about male bonding (with the occasional female, I can’t deny that), eating burgers and drinking beers in the celebratory moments prior to kickoff.

This weekend Treesje, a luxury handbag collection, will feature their own version of the tailgate party — the sample sale.

At a private residence, celebrity handbag designers Sheila Nazarian and Laura Darrah will host a special tailgating sample sale featuring their 2010 Fall and Holiday Collections at up to 50 percent off retail prices.

The line includes hobos, totes, crossbody bags, clutches, belts, cuffs and more, and is a favorite of such stars including Courtney Cox, Blake Lively, Fergie, Katy Perry, Vanessa Hudgens, Jessica Szohr, Jessica Stroup, AnnaLynne McCord, Mena Suvari, Kate Mara, Nikki Reed and bad girl of the moment, Taylor Momsen.
