Have A (Very) Happy Holiday With Some Spiked “Haute” Cocoa

With the holidays comes presents, fireplaces, family… and of course, a reason to drink and be merry. And if the holiday spirit isn’t enough to make you want to imbibe some spirits… Kahlúa has come out with a new, delicious flavor just in time for the winter. The Kahlúa Peppermint Mocha gives you a wonderful mingling of flavors — coffee, peppermint and a decadent chocolate.

Now, while you can drink it on the rocks… we thought we would have a little fun with it. Check out this recipe for the perfect, after dinner, spiked “haute” cocoa beverage:

2 parts Milk
1 part Hot Chocolate
1 part espresso
1 part Kahlúa Peppermint Mocha

(for those on a diet in preparation for the many holiday meals, feel free to substitute skim milk and sugar-free hot chocolate)

It’s good hot or chilled. And it will make you feel like Christmas has come early.
