Haute Event: Adrienne Arsht Center Fifth Anniversary Gala

On Thursday, Oct. 28, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts celebrated its fifth anniversary in style with a chic black-tie black-and-white themed soiree at the center’s Sanford and Dolores Ziff Ballet Opera House. The event was hosted by gala chairs Mike and Margaret Eidson, Marvin Ross Friedman, and Adrienne bon Haes, along with Adrienne Arsht Center President and CEO John Richard.

Guests were treated to dinner by Barton G. while a full orchestra provided the music. Guest also enjoyed a performance by Tony Award nominee (and local Miamian) Raúl Esparza.

The center also unveiled its brand new donor wall, which honors the some of the center’s greatest supporters and visionaries. Among those honored at the gala were Adrienne Arsht herself, Lin Arison, Alberto and Susan Ibargüen, Parker and Vann Thomson, Woody and Judy Weiser and Sanford and Dolores Ziff.

Proceeds from the event are planned to go toward the center’s arts education and community outreach programs.
