Ethel M Holiday Cactus Garden Goes 3-D This Season

One of Las Vegas’ treasures gets gussied up for the holidays. How can you not like something that combines the beauty of the Mojave Desert with chocolate? For the 17th year, Ethel M Chocolates presents its annual holiday Cactus Garden. And this year, it goes 3-D.

Beginning tomorrow through Jan. 1, you can tour the three-acre garden with 3-D glasses purchased at the Ethel M store next to the garden. See more than 350 varieties of cactus and succulent plants on your tour. More than half of these species call the desert Southwest home, while the remainder hail from Australia and South America.

When you’re done touring the grounds, stop in for hot chocolate and sweet treats at the factory’s store. Each day, local school choirs perform holiday favorites in the garden and even Santa Claus himself will make appearances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings through Dec. 23.

Ethel M Botanical Cactus Garden is located at 2 Cactus Garden Drive, Henderson. The garden is free and open to the public fro 5 to 10 p.m. daily.
