Eat Your Heart Out Boston 2010

News | November 3, 2010

Eat Your Heart is a night of good music, good food for two great causes. How could you go wrong? The concept came to this small group of, “local like-minded music- loving foodies,” as they so aptly put it, back in 2008 to celebrate their passions in one collaborative forum to benefit the work and passions of local creative types looking to foster and grow their love of food and music. Last year’s event at Church was a tremendous success and has led to an even bigger event this year at the Paradise Rock Club on Sunday, November 14th beginning at 6PM.

The Bands

Three local bands are set to perform as local chefs work their culinary magic simultaneously.  The evening’s roster includes three local indie bands each bringing their own aural delights to compliment the oral treasures (in the way of food consumption, ahem) you will be indulging on. Enjoy sounds from Magic Magic out of Salem, MA, You Can Be Wesley from Boston and Brenda hailing from Portland, ME.

The Chefs

A who’s who of hipster food marvels will be delighting the senses. The full roster includes: Tim Wiechmann of TW Food, Barry Maiden of Hungry Mother, Jamie Bissonnette of Toro and Coppa, Louie DiBicarri of Sel de la Terre, Suzi Maitland of Trina’s Starlite Lounge, Will Gilson of Garden at the Cellar, Seth Morrison of The Gallows, Matthew Barros of Myers & Chang, Tiffani Faison of Rocca, Anthony Marcoof– Lineage, Laura Henry-Zoubir of Regal Beagle and Church, Josh Buehler of KO Prime, and a chef yet to be names from Island Creek Oysters.

The Causes

Plus, all this fun and frolic is for the greater good. Two great causes will be the lucky beneficiaries of the event.  The first is Future Chefs, a school to career program working with high school culinary arts students in the Greater Boston area. The second is Zumix, a non-profit cultural organization in East Boston dedicated to building community through music and the arts.

The Tickets

Tickets for the evening are only $35 and are available at Ticketmaster or at the Paradise Rock Club Box Office. Gather more information at eatyourheartoutboston.com
