Alberta Ferretti Showcases New Collection in Moscow

Moscow’s elite was getting into the shopping spirit as lots of celebrities came together for Alberta Ferretti show to celebrate her first flagship store in Russia. The show took place in GUM (oldest department store).  Its central shopping line was transferred into grandiose podium. Golden A-listers were spotted in a front – as it turned out, athletes and businessmen are as interested in fashion as designers or artists are.

Ferretti eveningwear confections are known for their refined feminine embellishments like crystal jeweling, delicate layers and accordion pleats. Chiffon Diva and her iconic gowns have entranced women in search of the romantic, ethereal look for more than 30 years.

The new collection for forthcoming season didn’t become an exception and the show was spectacular. Flowing, diaphanous goddess gowns decorated with feathers and sequins; sheer, floor-sweeping frogs made from the finest materials…the designer showcased the dresses that make a heart skip a beat.

Alberta Ferretti proved that cold season is not a reason to forget about femininity. In autumn and winter she recommends то wear see-through chiffon and silk dresses, cashmere coats and to accomplish it with elegant accessories, such as boots made of satin.

The color palette of the collection is very calm. It is dominated by classic black, white and beige colors, as well as emerald and lavender shades. Particular attention is paid to embellishment.

In addition to the autumn/winter 2011 collection, Alberta Ferretti presented gowns from her bridal line — Forever. White dresses, sewn and hand-embroidered in Italy, express the essence of the elegant and romantic style, accentuating the magic that a bridal dress can evoke during a special moment.

When Alberta Ferretti appeared in the end of the fashion show, the audience busted into rapturous applause.
