Zampolli’s World: Black Ball

The Black Ball was held on Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. This annual benefit is hosted by Alicia Keys and her charity, Keep a Child Alive, which raises money for help treat and support families that are affected by AIDS. This year, the event raised more than $2.4 million.

Keys performed the song “Stronger Than Pride” on stage with singer, Sade; Jay-Z, and her husband Swizz Beatz also performed. Other guests included Ambassador Paolo Zampolli, Whitney Houston, Jennifer Hudson, BeyonceUsher, Loren and JR Ridinger, Robert Armani, Gianluca Passi, and Uma Thurman, who ended up on stage handling the night’s auction.
