Think Pink: Bloomingdale’s Pink Party

Pretty in Pink might be one of John Hughes’s best films, but now pink is more than just a color for proms and pouf-dresses. Bloomingdale’s Fashion Island is hosting a Pink Party to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, so stop by, shop and help fight for a cure.

Thursday, Oct. 14^th, Bloomingdale’s will have a special display of all the pink merchandise and products out so you can browse and mingle as you enjoy pink lemonade, pink cupcakes and more. In addition to direct donations to BCRF, shoppers can get special items from brands like Ralph Lauren – who has his own Pink Pony line that donates to breast cancer research all year long – to in-store exclusives like Bloomingdale’s Little Pink Bags and Little Pink Gift Cards. No matter what you choose, whether it’s the Estee Lauder Elizabeth Hurley Lip Design Collection or a KitchenAid Artisan mixer, a Tadashi Shoji gown or Lacoste oversize croc polo for your man, a portion of all the proceeds will benefit BCRF.

Exclusive items from Clinique, Tweezerman, Donna Karan and more come emblazoned with the pink ribbon logo (you can even pick up an Estee Lauder Pink Ribbon pin to go all out), but there’s a special selection of items from labels like DKNYC and Splendid that benefit the charity as well. Whether you want to show your pink pride or just give to the cause, the event is sure to bring together some great items that you’ll want in your closet (or on your vanity) and have you beaming with pink pride every time you wear them.
