Haute Events: Sleepy and Swanky at Duxiana’s Media Party

It wasn’t hard to relax at Preston Center’s Duxiana boutique on Setember 28th, what with the party atmosphere and oh-so-many luxurious beds available for comfy seating arrangements. The event, hosted by Media Bistro, garnered much attention from Dallas media and social players, who all walked away with a great swag bag worth over $100, complete with a gorgeous goose down travel pillow (take that, guy who’s hogging the armrest on your nine hour flight.)

Guests enjoyed jazz tunes by pianist Tony Palo, sipped on cocktails and munched on hors d’oeuvres supplied by Shorty’s Catering, including a brushcetta bar and sopapilla cheesecake, while checking out the notorious Dux Bed. Fit for a king (even if you get it in a queen size,) the Dux Bed is crafted from the best materials, including fine Swedish steel (the springs in one bed measure up to 1.25 miles long), with a personalized fit for every body type, from the Pascal Personal Comfort Zone system to the adjustable lumbar support exclusive to their line of bedding.
