Haute Event: InterContinental Miami Celebrates 25 Years

On Wednesday, Oct. 13, the InterContinental Miami celebrated its 25th anniversary with an exclusive invitation-only gala. The hotel’s Chopin Ballroom was transformed into a lively affair that hosted more than 300 guests who were treated to a sampling of some of the hotel’s Indigo Restaurant & Bar’s classic culinary dishes and music by Latin Grammy-nominated musician Roberto Perera.

During the event, the acclaimed pop artist Stephen Gamson presented the hotel’s general manager Robert Hill with an original painting that commemorated the 25-year milestone. Attendees included restaurateur Shareef Malnik, Florida Marlins’ marketing maven Juan Martinez, and Miami Dolphins’ businessman Rick Lassiter, among others.
