Bret Michaels and Kelly Rowland Perform at Miami Dolphins Game
On Monday, Oct. 4, two popular music stars performed at Sun Life Stadium for NFL Monday Night Football’s Miami Dolphins vs. New England Patriots game.
Before the kickoff, the legendary rock star Bret Michaels gave an exclusive acoustic performance at the Miami Dolphins Land Shark Tailgate Stage. Michaels rocked out to popular Poison songs along with tracks from his new solo album.
During the Fin’s halftime show, Grammy Award-winner, Kelly Rowland of Destiny’s Child also performed from the stadium’s new nightclub venue, LIV. Her performance was a special tribute in honor of NFL Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend, which went along with her PSAs that were aired throughout the game.
Both musicians felt honored to be a part of the game’s festivities. Beforehand, Michaels expressed, “Performing in front of such a passionate group of rivals fans will be an extra special experience for me. After being such a long-time Pittsburgh Steelers fan, football has always been in my blood. I look forward to being part of South Florida’s biggest party!”
Rowland mimicked these sentiments, “I am honored to perform at the Monday Night Football game between the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots. Breast cancer awareness is something particularly important to me, and I am thrilled to be working with survivors from the Susan G. Komen For The Cure foundation. I believe everyone should appreciate what these women have overcome in their lives to be with us today.”
