All in for After-School All-Stars

Forty of Atlanta’s elite are sitting down for a game of poker to positively impact at-risk youths in Atlanta on Friday night, Oct. 22, at the Loews Atlanta Hotel in the heart of Atlanta. Play will benefit Atlanta’s After-School All-Stars, whose mission is to develop children to their fullest potential where they are critical thinkers, effective communicators, responsible citizens, technologically competitive, and active life-long learners better prepared for academic success.

The night’s event begins with a cocktail reception at 7 p.m. where participants will enjoy drinks and heavy hors d’oeuvres, as well as a practice poker session. Following opening remarks, special prizes will be awarded and tournament play will begin promptly at 8 p.m. Guests have the opportunity of seeing the Atlanta Falcons take on the Cincinatti Bengals on Sunday, Oct. 24.

While promoting positivity in the local community, players will have the chance of winning exceptional prizes, including an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch; a $10,000 Graff gift certificate; a personally signed Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger humidor and 10 A.V.O. limited edition cigars from Buckhead Cigars; a seven-day, six-night all-inclusive stay at Patagonia Sur Private Reserve in Chile; a six-day, five-night stay at the Ritz Carlton Club Lake Tahoe; a custom, bespoke pair of Berluti shoes; a Tavistock Cup package; a 46” NuVision LED LCD TV; and a three-night stay at the Hotel Danieli, A Luxury Collection Hotel, in Venice, Italy.
