Welcome, Boston Fashion Week!

Come models, come photogs, come writers and designers: Boston’s Fashion Week is back.

A Boston fixture since 1995, Beantown’s Fashion Week truly stepped into the limelight in 2008, when national media caught wind of what our colonial city had under its conservative wraps and turned a quiet niche into a couture circus of the best kind. Fashion shows, exhibits, parties (and after parties) are now held at some of the hautest spots in the cities, run by industry veterans and up-and-coming talent alike.

Can’t-miss events include Closet Couture, a fashion show-meets-instruction on high-low dressing presented by Second Time Around and The Stylist Closet at the W Hotel on Monday evening; an intimate viewing of Vera Wang’s 2011 collection at her Newbury Street outpost on Wednesday evening; and Boston native Daniela Corte’s namesake show at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Friday evening.

This remainder of this year’s schedule can be found here, and includes RSVP and ticket information where applicable.

Whether you’re a ferocious fashionista or would simply like to enjoy the view, Boston Fashion Week is one that’s definitely worth engraving into your calendar.

Boston Fashion Week runs from September 24 through October 1
