Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week: Binetti Spring/Summer 2011Presentation

News | September 11, 2010

Forget the runway and the catwalk. The Binetti show this morning was instead an elegant presentation that previewed 22 different looks from the Spring/Summer 2011 collection. It was a living art gallery, each piece telling its own story.

The floor layout allowed for attendees to get up close and personal with the delicate designs and literally breathe in their details. The gowns were drowned in these details like beading, crystals and metallic buttons. Pale blues, pinks and neutral metallics matched together to create a lovely mood of springtime that appropriately included style names like Cherry Blossom and Blowing Wind. The standout piece of the presentation was the white chiffon gown that graced the entrance. The stomach was artfully covered in intricate flower appliques.

Binetti was formed in 2001 when friends Deigo Binetti and Ada Lee joined together to create a line that was as intriguing as it was graceful. The success of Binetti in just a few short years is a testament to the genius and passion behind the designers. The collections are always evolving, each wonderful gallery of art surpassing the last.

Wear a Binetti dress to an event, and you’ll be (err, your dress will be) the topic of conversation for the evening.
