Lacoste Shows Its Collection at New York Fashion Week

News | September 13, 2010
New York Fashion Week is well under way, and the designers have pulled out all the stops to bring to audiences outstanding designs and shows. Lacoste is one of the brands whose runway show pleased guests with their ever so chic basic designs and splash of color. Their Spring/Summer 2011 collection was shown on Saturday and included celebrities such as Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh and Sarah Lerfel of Colette.
The runway show kicked off with basic blacks and whites and gradually moved into more colorful pieces. Always staying true to its roots, the brand added a modern edge to its cotton shirts, coats, track pants and anoraks by infusing a safari motif into their collection. Included were earthy toned separates and hooded tops paired with visors.
As a whole, the collection remained sophisticated, modern and sporty. A great addition for any haute reader!
