Haute Santa Monica: Denims and Weddings

I was in Santa Monica last two days. First day, I’ve attended the Citizens of Humanity Denim Event. Denim aficionados enjoyed deejay tunes and specialty cocktails while shopping for the latest and greatest denim. Fact: You can never have enough pair of jeans… (Or handbags in my case.)

After the event, I’ve had a chance to explore the newly renovated Santa Monica Place. The 1980 design by the renowned architect Frank Gehry underwent a massive renovation process beginning in 2008. It looks better than ever and it’s also eco-friendly! (It is LEED certified.) I have to say, I’m pretty impressed with their rooftop deck and variety of stores. (Tory Burch, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Barneys New York, Michael Kors, Betsey Johnson, among many others.)

Then, I’ve attended the wedding ceremony of lovely Robyn and Gordon with my dear friend Olga Yefremova and her entrepreneur/actor boyfriend Brock Pierce. It was one interesting and beautiful wedding! Guests unleashed their inner child on the carousel. Ah, I’ve missed being a child!
