Dori’s World: Wednesday at Fashion Week

The first stop Wednesday night was at Saks Fifth Avenue for Lizzie Tisch’s Citymeals-on-Wheels event. After her event, Lizzie and I did some shopping and bought a bunch of Brian Atwood shoes; we love him.

Then I was off to Seth Greenberg’s space called Capitale where Ali Kay and Anne des Barres had a fashion show for their line Keep Me, such great stuff. They even had Foxy Brown perform. Andre Leon Talley was there as well as Alex, Diane and Tatiana von Furstenberg, Matthew and Nicole Mellon, Attilio Brillembourg, Kiera Chaplin, Ben Bram, Laurel Cummings, Jarret Kahn, Amanda Smith, Kevin Washington and Valerie Boster.

After the show we went to Vikram Chatwal’s hotel called The Chatwal where Jeffrey Jah runs the restaurant, the Lambs Club. Priya Chatwel, Vikram and Jeffrey Jah threw a dinner for Ali Kay. The space and food there are great. Loree Rodkin, John Mason, and Jason Pomeranc joined us as well as Rani Sanderson and Anne Marie Kortright-Shilstat, who were also models in the show. The show was a huge success and so was the dinner party. Another great night for New York Fashion Week.
