A Culinary Speakeasy with Top Chef’s Valerie Bolon

In the spirit of bringing people together to enjoy great food in a very unique dining experience, two of Chicago’s talented chefs, Valerie Bolon of Top Chef Season four fame, and Personal Chef Rachel Winpar are introducing Chicago to their newest endeavor, the underground dining scene.

The idea is simple, to celebrate delicious food and wine in a quaint and surprising locale. To invite all the foodies of Chicago under one roof to share passions and inspirations. To collaborate with local farmers, wine purveyors, and artists of all kinds. The six-course menu will be ever-changing, and the locations will be announced one week prior to the event.

You may remember Valerie from the same season as fellow Chicagoan and notable winner Stephanie Izard. After her brief stint cooking for a national audience, Valerie has since devoted her talents as a chef to support worthy causes and cooking for a variety of charitable organizations and events such as Paul Newman’s Painted Turtle, Common Threads, and Meals on Wheels.
