TAG Heuer Celebrates its 150th Anniversary with Global Tour of Custom Electric Roadster at Crystals at CityCenter

On display for a limited time at Crystals in CityCenter is the one-of-a-kind electric TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster created to celebrate TAG Heuer’s 150th anniversary and the company’s worldwide partnership with Tesla Motors. The custom roadster is making a six-month around-the-world journey coined the Odyssey of Pioneers. Also part of the exhibit are three cutting-edge TAG Heuer timepieces.

Celebrities who’ve appeared with the roadster include TAG Heuer brand ambassador Leonardo DiCaprio, Twilight star Kellan Lutz, True Blood leading actor Joe Manganiello, Johnny Galecki of Big Bang Theory, Tim Daly of Private Practice and tennis champion Maria Sharapova.

The Odyssey of Pioneers is a 22,000-mile journey through 15 major cities and hundreds of towns over three continents. The roadster has made its way across Europe, Asia and India, and hit U.S. soil in July, where it was welcomed and driven by tennis champion Maria Sharapova. Domestic stops include Las Vegas, Houston, Baton Rouge, Orlando, Miami, Savannah, Raleigh, Washington, D.C., and New York.
The 2010 TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster is a one-of-a-kind collector’s car incorporating TAG Heuer styling and design elements, a unique concept watch and TAG Heuer timepieces.
