Haute Event: Symphonix Hosts Preview Party for Upcoming Opening Night Gala Concert

Symphonix members and guests alike came together Monday, July 19, to enjoy a preview of the Opening Night Gala concert. Guests congregated in the Crown Room of the stunning San Francisco Fairmont Hotel for an evening filled with Champagne, hors d’oeuvres and artistic conversations with several of San Francisco Symphony’s finest. Assistant conductor Donato Cabrera, French horn player Jessica Valeri and artistic administrator Mark Williams engaged in a lively discussion about the upcoming event to be held on Sept. 7. The discussion included the lineup that conductor Michael Tilson Thomas will lead, which will include a special performance by world renowned soprano Jessye Norman. The preview party was complimentary for the Gala ticket holders and Symphonix members to provide a sneak peek at the Gala that will launch the 99th season of the San Francisco Symphony.
