When jet-setting celebrities, globetrotting athletes and glamazon partygoers want to get down in style, they bring the party to the hautest secret in Boston: Rumor Nightclub.
Encased within the pulse of super haute Theatre District, Rumor Nightclub continues to stand out as one of Boston’s hippest, sexiest venues. A discreet entrance leads way to a posh foyer, where patrons can choose between two rabbit holes in its wicked wonderland: a larger room to the left, with an almost cerebral ambiance; or a smaller, more intimate setting to the right, where privacy takes precedence amidst a darkly decadent backdrop. Like two sides to a shining gold coin, the adjoining rooms are set with their own DJs (and, often, their own musical vibes—think Latin in one room and house in the other, or any other duo swirled between a bevy of R&B, hip hop, pop and funk), VIP tables (beset with bottle service and private waitstaff), and unique vibes.
Beantown’s elite event planners and promoters flawlessly execute each evening’s festivities, which range from its long-running (and award-winning) industry night, to star-studded visits (Paris Hilton, Ne-Yo, Mario Andretti and both Wahlberg brothers have all made appearances in the past year) and private parties. With a few exceptions, the club is open six nights a week, Monday through Saturday (opening times vary, but count on staying ‘til the early morning hours), and offers on-site valet—a must for this trendy neighborhood.
Whether it’s time for the party or the after party, Rumor is gossip worth sharing.
Rumor Nightclub is located at 101 Warrenton Street, Boston, 617.422.0045
