Jack the Stripper Wanted for The London Dungeons
For decades it’s been one of London’s most popular tourist attractions yet admittedly, few Londoners ever pay The London Dungeons a visit.
Still that may all be about to change with the introduction of Jack the Stripper – a saucy take on one of London’s most notorious characters.
Next month the world-famous attraction is introducing a strictly over-18s After Dark Ladies Night.
The Terrible Torturer will be the star attraction and the act will demonstrate some of his grisly tools of his trade. We’re told his blood-curdling Chappy Chopper is set to raise a few screams.
Meanwhile, a chilling tour of Jack the Ripper’s East End will feature a special guest waiting to reveal his ‘secret weapon.’ Who on earth would want to pay to see that? — we’ll have to wait and see.
“Jack the Stripper will essentially be a cheeky subversion of our current Jack the Ripper character who makes an appearance as part of our Victorian Ripper experience,” says General Manager, Nicola Ratcliffe.
As yet, the role of Jack the Stripper has not been filled. “We’re looking for an adult entertainer who can do more than just strip. They need to get into the twisted humor of the Dungeon and play the role as well,” said Nicola.
Tours of the London Dungeon are renowned for their tongue-in-cheek humor that raises chuckles from parents as much as with the kids they may visit with. Again, just how cheeky this entertainer will be is yet to be seen.
