Haute Event: Southampton Hospital’s 52nd Annual Summer Party Raises Historic Amount

A sold-out gala entertained more than 1,000 notable guests at Southampton Hospital’s 52nd Annual Summer Party on Saturday, Aug. 7. Governor a-raising milestone for Southampton Hospital.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the operations of the hospital’s newly opened Jenny and John Paulson Emergency Department. Jenny Paulson, who recently dedicated the Paulson family’s gift of $5 million in memory of her late father, highlighted the event with a heartfelt address. The Paulson’s charitable donation enabled the hospital to nearly double the size of its existing Emergency Department, which cares for more than 25,000 patients annually. Southampton Hospital, affiliated with Stony Brook University Medical Center, is a member of the East End Health Alliance and ranks among the top 5 percent of all hospitals in the nation in regards to patient safety.
