Happy Hour For a Cause Tonight at JB Kitchen & Bar

Forget BP and think JB. The National Wildlife Foundation, America’s largest conservation organization, and JB Kitchen & Bar, Brickell’s resplendent neighborhood resto, have joined forces to benefit the Gulf cleanup effort. The duo, along with a team of young professionals, is hosting a fundraiser tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. at JB Kitchen & Bar. Enjoy half-priced happy hour specials, sounds by DJ Ethics, and no cover for a cause.

The charitable happy hour event invited South Florida residents to keep the momentum going in abetting the oil spill crisis. JB Kitchen & Bar will donate a percentage of proceeds from drink sales and a select menu of appetizers towards funding the rehabilitation of wildlife and the environmental cleanup of the affected area. After a night of benefaction, you’ll want to celebrate happy hour all over again tomorrow at JB’s extended happy hour from 5 to 10 p.m.

What else is JB Kitchen & Bar up to in August? Savor classic fare with a Latin twist with JB’s Miami Spice menu through the rest of the month. This Saturday at 9 p.m., JB introduces Upscale Saturdays, featuring a dinner party, including a three-course prix fixe menu for $25, music by DJ Leighton Paul & Kwesi Cris alongside DJ Fly Guy, and a live band at midnight.

Spill drinks, not oil.

JB Kitchen & Bar is located at 1250 S. Miami Ave. in Brickell, 305.415.0070, jbkitchenandbar.com.
