Dori’s World: Los Angeles Part 3

Last Friday night I stayed at Alexander von Furstenberg’s house in Malibu. I love waking up at his house. There’s something so calm and serene about being near the ocean. And Alex made chocolate chip pancakes for Ali Kay, his kids and me at 7 a.m. Later that afternoon Lindsay, Melissa, and Keith Meister came over with their brand new baby. So adorable!

Afterward, we went to Kurt Rappaport’s party that he threw for his girlfriend, Isabella. Steve Tisch, Jason Pomeranc and Michael Baruch were all there. Saturday night I went back to the city and had dinner at Bouchon Bistro in Beverly Hills with Jane and John Mass and Lizzie Tisch. Lizzie and I then went to Spago to meet Caryn and Jeff Zucker at their NBC pre-Emmy party. (Jeff is the CEO of NBC Universal). We saw my favorite doctor, Dr. House (Hugh Laurie), Jeff Lewis and Jane Krakowski.

Sunday morning I had breakfast at the hotel before heading with Lizzie Tisch to our next destination. Stay tuned for my Emmys coverage!
