Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award

News | July 6, 2010

London’s art scene descended on Peckham multi-storey car park last week to celebrate the annual Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award.

The Montblanc Cultural Foundation was proud to present this year’s award to Outset Contemporary Art Fund, a philanthropic organisation dedicated to supporting new art.

As winners they will receive €15,000 toward an arts project of their choice, and a specially created limited edition Montblanc fountain pen. This year’s writing instrument is the Patron of the Art Elizabeth I, inspired by the author, poet and passionate devotee to the arts.

Guests sipped cocktails and champagne at Frank’s Café & Campari Bar, enjoying the amazing view and beautiful weather from the hit pop-up bar and dining concept on the multi-storey’s rooftop.

Frank’s Café & Campari Bar sits alongside Bold Tendancies IV; a new group show by the Hannah Barry gallery. A local space representing emerging sculptors and artists, the show launched with the night’s Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award.

Guests included: Johnny Borrell, Antony Gormley, Alison Jackson, Nicolas Serota, Blake Wood, Simon de Pury, Henry Conway, Hofit Golan, Blake and many more
