Haute Events: Decadestwo and HauteLook Take Over The Historic Firehouse

News | July 6, 2010

Luxury designer consignment retailer Decadestwo teamed up with online retailer HauteLook June 17-19, taking over the historic Fort Mason Firehouse for a three-day shopping extravaganza. Decadestwo co-owner Christos Garkinos and his team landed in the Bay Area with a highly edited selection of inventory specifically selected for the San Francisco fashionista. “The Bay Area is about understated chic,” said Garkinos. “The ladies here know how to shop discreetly and we are excited to take over the Firehouse to show the ladies some Hollywood glam.”

The three-day event kicked-off with an exclusive VIP cocktail reception and preview co-hosted by Vanessa Getty and Gina Pell, the founder of Splendora.com, and benefited the Orangutan Foundation International. Special guest Monet Mazur spun throughout the night. The space was filled with recent runway treasures and Decadestwo’s luxury designer staples including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Gucci and more with pieces sold at up to 80 percent off retail.
