Dori’s World: Verona Dinner, Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation Cocktails and Filming for The SpIN CROWD

News | July 12, 2010

On Saturday night in the Hamptons, Meredith and Bryan Verona hosted a fabulous dinner at their home in Bridgehampton featuring Italian night. The al fresco dinner was decorated like an evening in Italy. Nicole Hanley Mellon and Matthew Mellon, Ed and Susan Harrison, Roxanne Palin, Chris and Richard Mack, Kimberly Kravis Schulhof and Charlotte and David Blechman were all there.

The next stop was Denise and Daniella Rich’s home, where they hosted a summer cocktail party to benefit Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. Richard Kilstock and David Aaron’s band the Born Again Baldwins played. Alex Kramer, Tara and Greg Spiegel, Lizzie and Jon Tisch, Debbie and Harlan Peltz, Star Jones, Allison Lutnick, Dylan Lauren, Liz Cohen, Jen Brown, Karen Larrain, Charlie and Lauren Walk, Topper Mortimer, Francesca Bodini, Adam Dell, Dennis Basso, Michael Cominotto, Indrani, Greg Bello, Loren Herbert and Natasha Silver were there.

The weekend ended with a fun afternoon back in New York City filming in Central Park for Jonathan Cheban’s new show The SpIN CROWD coming out on E! later this summer. First, Lizzie Grubman, Jonathan and I had lunch at Serafina, then we were off to the boat house in the park, where the filming of his new show was. I don’t remember the last time I was on a boat. I think it was when I was at sleep-away camp at Oxford Guilford.
