Dori’s World: The Kids Are All Right Premier and Attimo by Salvatore Ferragamo Launch at The Standard

News | July 1, 2010

My dear friend Gary Gilbert produced an awesome movie, The Kids Are All Right, that opened tonight at Landmark Theatres Sunshine Cinema. Focus Features bought the movie from Gary at the Sundance Film Festival. Peggy Siegal put together the event. The theater was packed, but luckily Rob Vecsler saved me a seat.

The after-party was held at Plein Sud at Smyth Tribeca. The cast came to the party — including Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo, Mia Wasikowska, Josh Hutcherson and Yaya DaCosta — to celebrate the premier. I also saw Ed Norton, Ellen Barkin, Celine Rattray from Mandalay Entertainment, Scot Lerner, Ali Wise, Stacey Bendet, Jen Raines and Lesley Thompson. Great film, Gary!

Afterward, I headed over to Nadine Johnson’s event for Attimo, the newest fragrance from Salvatore Ferragamo, hosted by Dree Hemingway and Fabiola Beracasa poolside at the top of The Standard. At the party were Derek Blasberg, gorgeous Stavros Niarchos, Topper Mortimer, Peter Davis, Genevieve Jones, Francesca Bodini, Inga Rubenstein, Bronson Van Wyck, Marco Perego, Elie Tahari, Julie Macklowe and Olympia Scarry.
