You’re Invited: Sip Patron on a Classic Railcar

Patrón Social Club and the St Bernard Project cordially invite you to board The Patrón Tequila Epicurean Express, a special fundraising event for the St. Bernard Project on the Patrón Tequila Express railcar, refurbished from the 1920’s.

On June 2nd, a hosted cocktail party aboard the railcar will benefit the rebuilding of New Orleans. Guests have the opportunity to tour the train and participate in a silent auction while enjoying complimentary hors d’oeuvres prepared by Chef Mark Sparacino of Ristorante Prosecco, and Patrón Tequila cocktails. Tickets are $50.

On June 3rd, the Patrón Tequila Epicurean Express will host a five-course, train-side, sit-down dinner at Union Station with world-renowned James Beard Award Winning chef Charlie Trotter, featuring Patrón Tequila cocktails. There are only twenty seats available to this special event. Tickets for the dinner can be purchased for $500 each.

What is the Bernard Project?

The mission of the St. Bernard Project is to create housing opportunities so that Hurricane Katrina survivors can return to their homes and communities. SBP has established a Volunteer Driven Rebuilding Program, an Opportunity Housing Program, a Good Work Good Pay (GWGP) Program and a Center for Wellness and Mental Health. An average home rebuilding process takes numerous volunteers, 12 weeks and $20,000. In the wake of the oil spill, proceeds will also go toward assisting local fishermen with job placement and mental health services.
