Up & Riding Retail Opening in Honolulu
Global surf, skate, and snowboard brand Volcom kicked off the launch of their new sister store Up & Riding with some of the surfing world’s biggest names. Saturday afternoon six of Volcom’s top team riders came out to meet fans.
On hand were pros Kawai Lindo, JD Irons, Gavin Beschen, Tai Vandyke, Tom Dosland, and Bruce Irons to give away custom screened Volcom t-shirts. Kauai born Bruce Irons, best known for his aerial maneuvers and fearless riding of tubes was the biggest draw of the day as one of the top professional surfers in the world.
Up & Riding is a brand specifically targeted for children. The term loosely refers to a young, new surfer standing up on a surfboard and riding a wave hence – they are up and riding. The store features quality surf brands like Roxy Girl, Billabong Kids, Quiksilver and other well known labels. If you are looking for premium names in surf wear for youth this is the place to shop in Hawaii.
