Target Announces Mulberry Collection
Every fall we go on a hunt for the season’s best new handbag—it doesn’t necessarily have to fall into the category of “It” bag-dom but we do have a few criteria. First it must be sturdy, able to handle all of the wear and tear inflicted on it by harsh weather elements, and not to mention practical. Plus, it wouldn’t hurt to be stylish. And, finally, it must fit into our budget—after all, the cost of a chic new handbag doesn’t exactly save us style mavens pennies.
So, when it was announced today that Target would be collaborating with Mulberry on a limited edition handbag collection, we were ecstatic. Mulberry, the world famous luxury accessories brand made famous by chicsters Alexa Chung, Olivia Palermo, and other Hollywood types, has long been known for its “It” bag appeal, but also its versatility and swanky appeal. We see supple leathers in rich shades of camel, red, and blue in our future.
The collection goes on sale at Target stores and at Target.com October 10 through December 24, just in time for Holiday shopping. Did we mention that our birthday falls in there?
