Ron Robinson Pops Up at the Mondrian in West Hollywood

News | June 24, 2010

The Mondrian in West Hollywood has been host to a few of our favorite fashion stars in past months, with pop-up shops rotating in and out of their hip space—swimwear designer Shay Todd and lingerie brand Kiki de Montparnasse, anyone? Next, the Mondrian will open its doors for Ron Robinson, the man behind the APOTHIA beauty brand and his own shop inside Fred Segal.

Angelenos—and hotel guests, of course—can expect to browse, and shop, a selection of goods like Missoni towels, Stephen Webster fine jewelry, Nixon watches, and speakers designed by Philippe Starck. Robinson is also importing a little New York flair from Pamela Love. She may be best known for her edgy jewels, but she has designed an exclusive t-shirt just for the Mondrian, and it is priced at just $25. Robinson, for his part, will offer his own candles, bath and body products, and fragrances.

The Ron Robinson pop-up shop at the Mondrian will open on June 29 and stay open through December. You can’t beat this concept for a little touristy retail therapy, and maybe a little holiday shopping as the cooler months approach. The Mondrian in West Hollywood is located at 8440 Sunset Blvd., and you can find more information on these luxe accommodations at www.mondrianhotel.com.
