Dori’s World: Adam Lippes and Reem Acra Dinners

Tonight started off at the Surrey Hotel with drinks with Denise Kaufmann, Allison Rubler, Meredith Verona and Elizabeth Schnipper Maidman.

Then I was off to Adam Lippes’ house for a dinner and cocktails party held for him by Christian Leone of the Gilt Groupe and the Whitney Museum of American Art to celebrate Lippes’ collection of limited edition wearable art tees by artist Matthew Brannon, E.V. Day, Ellen Harvey and Phoebe Washburn. Derek Blasberg, Lesley Schulhof, Helen Lee Schifter, Alex Kramer, Natalie Leeds Leventhal, Karen Larrain, Zani Gugelmann, Carlos Mota, Bob Colacello, Gigi Howard and Roopal Patel were all there.

Zani Gugelmann and I stopped by The Standard Grill for a dinner with couture designer Reem Acra held by Ali Wise. On hand were the newly engaged Maria Fabiola Beracasa, Byrdie Bell, Jen Brill, Jamie Diner in from London and WWD editor Vanessa Lawrence and stylist Annabell Tollman.
